Message: Nice place to get away and enjoy a bit of nature.

Message: After our reservations fell through at another B&B we found ourselves in Bastrop, Texas with nowhere to stay for our romantic getaway except possibly the Hampton Inn. As we called around looking any other place, we were told to try the 9E ranch. Despite it being late Joan and Kent invited us up, made sure our cabin was ready, complete with fresh muffins and cookies, and were very hospitable. Although it’s not what we were looking for (or so we thought) it turns out it was exactly what we needed. We will be back when we have more time to spend at your amazing ranch. Thank you guys for everything.

Message: Love staying here, the peace and quiet. The nature here is great and the nights are so beautiful. It's a great place to get rested up and just enjoy your self.

Message: This is an out-of-the-way place to get away. The peaceful setting is very nice, with enough room to roam around, take pictures, and enjoy the quiet.. Our cabin was good, with a nice view from a spacious seating area. The bedroom was a little tight, with the large bed taking up most of the room.. The hosts were gracious and friendly, making sure everything was ok.. It's not too far from Bastrop, so finding a place to eat breakfast or dinner was not a problem.

Message: We stayed at Michelle's cabin on 9E ranch and loved it! The cabin is cozy and charmingly decorated. My husband and I stayed with our young kids, and the space in the cabin accommodated us very well. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch and taking the kids on nature walks during the day. The horses and donkeys grazing and playing being the fence just outside the cabin is picturesque.

Message: We stayed in the Lone Star cabin and absolutely loved it. We had everything we needed to unplug and relax. The bedding was fabulous and oh-so-comfortable. The host/hostess jumped through hoops to get us in the cabin when we made a very last minute reservation.. We definitely recommend this very special spot.

Message: Had an opportunity to stay at the 9E Ranch with Joan and Kent. Lovely couple who were kind enough to show me and my girl friend around the ranch. Absolutely stunning place with a ton of nature to explore.. The long horns on their ranch were gorgeous. Massive but beautiful animals. Their collection of miniature horses and donkeys were fun to hang out with as well. Even got to ride on a miniature horse cart.. Real close to Austin that it's perfect for a get away but close enough to Austin to hop into town for looking around if you are from out of town. It's just far away enough from the city that the stars at night were breath taking from lack of serious light pollution. Sat around outside on the porch just staring up at the sky for a while at night. The ranch is located on top of a hill so you can really see the entire area around you when you get there.. Definitely would recommend staying at the 9E Ranch if you are visiting the area.

Message: We just had another fabulous stay at the 9e Ranch! On a cold and overcast New Years Eve, we were warm in our cozy cabin with a fantastic view of the ranch and the longhorns that roamed on it. Also making us feel warm were our gracious hosts, Kent & Joan. They love sharing the beauty and serenity of their ranch with all their guests.
